From June 19th to 23rd, 2016, the 29th International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimisation, Simulation and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems” (ECOS2016) was held in Portorož (Slovenia).
The conference, which lasted for the week and was organized in 6 keynote lectures and about 66 parallel sessions, was attended by around 330 participants from all over the world.
Mrs. María Jaén Caparrós, Coordinator of HYACINTH Project, gave an oral presentation in the parallel session titled “Environmental, social and sustainability issues associated with energy systems, industrial production, and transportation” attended by 50 participants on Wednesday, June 22nd. The HYACINTH Coordinator presented the general information of the project (objectives, partners, organization, etc) and the preliminary results regarding the public awareness and evaluation of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technologies based on the 7,000 nationally-representative survey samples collected from 7 European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Norway, Slovenia, Spain and United Kingdom) between April and May 2016.
