Last Wednesday, July 27th, The National Hydrogen Centre, held at its facilities a new workshop within The Cycle of Conferences “Experiences on Hydrogen Technology Applications” organised by the UCC+i-CNH2, where hydrogen and fuel cell European projects carried out by Foundation for the development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon and National Hydrogen Centre were presented.
As other workshops, from the Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation (UCC+i-CNH2), The National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) with the participation of researchers and technicians from different entities and research centres, shows the hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to society.
In this opportunity, two speakers took part at the conference, Mr. Fernando Palacín, Director of Foundation for the development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon and Ms. Gema Alcalde Ranz, from the National Hydrogen Centre, who carried out a presentation titled: “Participation of Spanish entities in European Projects: Opportunities and success cases”.
With an estimated audience of 50 attendees, during the conference, Mr. Fernando Palacín showed activities and capacity of its entity related to develop and improve the hydrogen technologies, as well the European Projects more relevant that The Foundation for the development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon has been involved, he also showed some results obtained and their applications. On the other hand, Ms. Gema Alcalde presented the European Project HYACINTH, coordinated by CNH2. In this Project are participating 11 members from 5 European countries. Ms. Gema Alcalde, explained the main and specific objectives of this interesting Project, the public awareness as a relevant factor to introduce a technology in a marketplace. In addition, she showed some preliminary results and the expected ones at the end of HYACINTH. This project has been funded by Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH-JU).
Finally, It was mentioned the great success obtained in 21st WHEC 2016 held in Zaragoza.
